Hiroki and Kuriko experienced a deep and wonderful time at a yoga ashram in southern India in 2024. They decided to recreate this experience in Japan by honoring this way of life in India, and adjusting it to accommodate a wider range of interests.
Hiroki has practiced yoga for over 10 years and completed his RYT200 yoga instructor certification in 2022. He held his own yoga classes in Chiba before moving to Nagano with his partner, Kuriko. Kuriko is a former professional golfer who has been active as a professional golfer for over 10 years. Having lived the life of an athlete, she understands the importance of self-care and wellness. Throughout the retreat, they will do their best to provide an environment to destress and focus on wellness.
Their journey to India began with a question: What is yoga? After spending two months in India, they realized that yoga is a holistic lifestyle and ultimately means living a balanced life. We invite you to experience it at Yogoda's wellness retreat.
